1. Tell us who you are – what you do and how long you’ve been
doing it ?
My name is Arnaud, say it “Arno”. I also go by the name of Onra. Arno-Onra, get it? I’m french and I live in Paris. I’ve started making music 10 years ago.
2. Favourite 3 colors?
I don’t even know. Let’s say blue, green and grey.

4. Favourite city and why ?
It’s such a love and hate relation with Paris, so I’d pick Tokyo cause there’s too many things that amazed me the first and only time I’ve been there.
5. Favourite food / drink /?
Anything from my both grand mothers (one is french, the other is vietnamese) and anything with potatoes.
Non alcohol: Fruit juice. Alcohol: Gin Tonic.
6. Biggest vice ?
Good-looking girls.
7. Biggest Gripe ?
I don’t know what you mean.
8. Favourite shoe?
Adidas Americana High, the original one.
9. Favourite 5 tracks ?
For me, that’s impossible to pick if you don’t define a precise category. Let’s say if we’re only talking about modern music from Detroit, then I’d say something like this:

10. Perfect day?
Wake up around noon, have a nice breakfast, record shopping during the afternoon, meeting friends for dinner, get high and make beats until 6. Almost sounds like everyday.

I don’t know who’s the most famous between DJ Houseshoes and dâm-funk.
12. 3 people you would love to have a pint with ?
Reggie Miller, Andre 3000, Jessica Alba. Obviously for 3 different reasons.
13. 3 things you cant live without . . .
I don’t consider Family, Friends, Music as a thing so I guess I’d say: Glasses/Lenses, Computer & my record collection.

I’m lucky to be healthy.
15. Last time you were caught doing something ?
Never got caught.
16. 5 things that are within arms reach of where you are right now?
MPC, turntable, vinyls, cigarettes, headphones.
17. what would u grab from your burning house?
Portable hard drive, laptop, pictures, one MPC and as much vinyls as I can.
18. 3 things to do before you die ?
Travel, buy a house and stop smoking.

Circa 1986/87: first day at elementary school in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

New album is called “Long Distance”, out in April 2010 on All City records. Got a few other projects I’m working on, one dub 12” with Quetzal (Al Quetz), a collab project with Buddy Sativa, Chinoiseries Part II, Unrelased Beats Vol. 1, etc…….
