After hearing the sad news that Dare TWS had passed – I thought I had to write a few words out of respect to the man.

Since I was kid starting out painting – Dare had always been a constant inspiration and really innovator with techniques and color combinations.

His sketches were always really fresh and had such a nice balance and flow to them. There was never too many tricks or kicks on his letters and the colors he chose were always banging – ive never seen a bad piece by Dare . When he used to ad a darker shade to the 3d – it was always perfect and he was the first to do the semi 3d flat letter pieces – knowing that fully 3d is wack and its always about the letterform – he never changed his style dramatically to suit trends or gimmicks – he kept it true to his own style and always pushed it and kept it moving.

He will be sorely missed and never forgotten – Dare TWS – Rest in Paradise . . .

I am going to put up a piece by him everyday for the next month just to remind you how fresh he is . . .
