These are some of the nice things I saw away, on Coney Island and in New Orleans, including these beauts I found in the French market there.

The bestpart about this is the image that was chosen accompanied, of course by the witty remark underneath.G’wan Wicklow!

The last sneakers I’ll post for a while. I promise, just so nice…

Nice illustration by Jared Nickerson on The Behance Network.

i like to think I’d be brave enough to wear these, but I don’t think so, so for those of you ladies who are, get them at www.luisaviaroma.com

This is from the poster exhibition put on by Sixpack France, the trendy legends. Some amazing stuff…amazingly expensive too.

I don’t know where these images came from, but they were hiding out on my computer for a while n I reckon they needed some fresh air.

Top one is a canvas by Jon One 156, and the kicks I chose out cuz they go well with Tavis Coburn’s beautifully designed Program covers for the BAFTAs this year. As far as I’m aware you can’t still get L.A lights, which is a cryin shame, but they’re knockin out some pretty amazing outrageous gear!
I dont know how I stumbled across these but they surely caught my attention!

this cost her £539,500!!! Imagine all the sick sneaks you could get with that….such a waste.

Twins that wanted to look more alike. Why? Why?

Top two images are from the latest adidas women’s collection which is pretty different, haven’t strayed too far from the odd tennis-dress and leggings, but a couple of gems like that sparkly American football top/dress. As for the Star wars inspired collection, which I know is old news at this point but c’mon. Very safe designs mostly sampling colours from the films and applying them pretty uninspiringly on to existing sneaker models. They push the boat out in some cases, like the Darth Vader, cape-like wind-breaker and a pair of flashy sneaks but in general most of these pieces could be connected to any sci-fi film, or non sci-fi for that matter. Done griping. (You can see the collections on the adidas site, top two are screen grabs from the promotional video).

Dunk ETHELs designed by INSA for a show comin up called “Kicks N Canvas”. Looks savage, check out the site at www.kicksncanvas.co.uk Really like the t-shirt, simple but different. And check out the nice packaging design, attention to detail there with the little handle! Couldn’t find out who from NIKE designed the packaging with INSA so if anyone finds out let me know!

Thank you sneaker freaker for the hours of torturous drooling I have done over your many pages of sweetness. The group are called Rope Chain Spiller Kidz, I like their over the topness. Oh and that’s a Fafi piece. Now.

lots of designers goin to town with this inky/smokey effect in type, I’m a big fan, and it’s rare to see it done so well. The belt is by a metal designer called Lara Bohinc, she had some really nice gold pieces in her last collection. her website’s http://www.larabohinc.com/

Some multi-coloured freshness for anyone who’s had a bad day, even a naked bird in there for the lads. Oh and those sneaks don’t exist, made them on a website where you can get the photoshop templates of lots of nikes, someone posted it in a comment a few months ago, and to you I thank for the hours of entertainment!(The website’s www.pigmag.com)

Dr. Evil’s “mixed bag” post reminded me of this lad, these are by an American printmaker that goes by the name of Gunsho, he did a diplo record cover a couple of years ago and has done loads of other collaborative work. His websites: http://scuzzdemon.blogspot.com/ Check it the fuck oooout!

This was nabbed from here http://www.lettercult.com/archives/1184 The site’s called lettercult n it’s all about custom letters, if you haven’t seen it yet check it out, they’ve done up the hundred best custom fonts of 2009 so plenty to browse through!

I can’t remember where I grabbed most of these pics, sorry, but I can tell you that I found the last pic (plant shoe) ages ago and had it on my computer only to discover recently that it’s adidas copying or commissioning a group based in the UK called guerilla gardeners or somethin to that effect to promote eco-friendliness….the shoe is made up of PLASTIC plants. Nice one adidas.

Gary Panter for Stussy

Turn the ladies’ heads with these nice spring 2010 Stussy ties, very smart.

This is a deadly new font designed by two “postmodern” typographers pierre and Damien. Watch the video - Very inspiring!

Stussy spring/summer ‘10 collection for girls is very very nice, buy it at stussy.com.
Site is irritatingly slow and hard to navigate though!
